shooting a car show ad?

I was asked if I would film the car show this weekend so the owners could use the footage to advertise for the next car show. I was wondering what setting should I use? I'm on the hvx200a. I can go p2 or tape. I'm editing on Vegas Pro.

Thanks

Assuming they would want HD footage, use film cam operation and either 720/24pN or 1080/24pA will give nice results and a decent filmic look. 1080 will give you a bit better detail. You'll likely have more static shots and slow pans anyway, so 24p modes will probably look great. I'd choose a scene file like "COLOR" if your intent is to really produce vivid images. It all really depends on what type of look you and the client are after. Use 60p if you want a more stark video look.

No HD available on tape. Also might determine exactly how your client wants to use the footage.
