Shooting 60fps with 25 fps Audio lip sync

Hello, first time poster here.

I'm pitching a music video and I want to do the shooting in slow motion but at sync.

I've had a look about the web and I can see the specs for 24fps, 23.98 fps, and several others, but I want to shoot 60 fps on a 25fps editing timebase.

does anyone know what the calculation would be? I'm thinking the song needs cranking 240% with corrected pitch, but I'm really not sure and I can't risk getting this wrong.

Best

First question would be:

What camera are you shooting with and will you be shooting 60p over 25p? Or 60p natively then dropping into a 25p timeline? You may have to take fractional frames into account for the sync process.

Yeah, do an simple test just of someone talking/singing something random. That will prove the concept, and help uncover any hidden problems with your 240% post processing.

You'll find that 60p is far, far, way too fast to work for this. Just listen to the song sped up to 250%... to really do this right, you need a camera with more frame rate control.
