Shooting 25p

Hi all.

I need to find out what is the best way to shoot 25p with the HVX.
What are the best settings to use, shutter speed etc.

I've tried to search for some tips but haven't found any that explain it correctly.

Any advice would be great.

Thanks!

Well we'll be shooting static interviews which I guess will be easy, the difficult part would be the panning shots of buildings, also we will be shooting alot of kids playing etc.

I've tried shooting 25p before and the shots always look very jerky. Is it best for me to change over to the film camera setting and use a certain shutter angle?

thanks.

I thought I should maybe add some more info.

I'm having to shoot some footage in PAL land which is going to be added to an NTSC project by the guys doing the edit in the states.

They have asked me to shot 25p so that they can change from PAL to NTSC. The strobe effect of 25p has always scared me off from shooting that way which is why I don't have any experience with it.

Would it be best to shoot 25p for conversion to 24p, or could I shoot 50p and convert it myself to 25p before I ship off the hard drive.

If 25p is the best choice, what tips could I get to do it correctly. ie shot in film cam mode with a certain shutter or video cam mode with a certain shutter.

Any tips would be great.
