No, this is not a question about it. Just a quick take review on the product. Which is available at www.Shoot35.com.
I just wanted to say that it is a very well made piece of kit. The gearbox in particular is all metal custom gearbox using stainless steel gears in aluminum housing. The design is simple and very effective. Completely play free? No. But at 349 British Pounds or about $550 USD, it's an excellent value.
I can hear you asking: How do you know all this? Well, I own one. But more than that, I took mine apart because I was messing around with it in ways that I shouldn't have (it involved a rubber mallet.... yeah) and done screwed it up and had to open it up to fix what I did. That's when I found out the quality of the internals. Overall, I'm very impressed. In this price range, I think you'd be hard pressed to find a better value in its class.
Would I buy it again? Yes. I tried the Proaim, Indian made one and found it basically useless so I went to this. I also like the design better than their direct price range competitor, Redrock Micro. Nothing against Redrock, I've been very happy with their products too. I just like the Shoot35 design better.
So yeah, that's it. Hope it helps someone considering a follow focus unit.
