I have a DVX100A. I want to shoot a period piece with the tiffen Yellow 8 filter to produce a B/W image for external scenes. I want to know what setting I have to do in camera to get the B/W image vs color. I want to do this in camera vs post in Vegas since it will look better at the end and not a even wash across the board. Anyone did this? Thanks for the comments.

I don't think you can shoot black and white in camera if that's what your asking. You could bring the saturation all the way down, but I don't think even that will get you very close to the black and white image you're looking for.

Do it in post; you will see no noticable difference in quailty.
