Sharing 60hz recordings in a 50hz country

Will be traveling to the Cook Islands next year with the DVX. It's set up for USA frequency, 60hz. However, a local broadcaster is interested in me sharing some of my raw footage with them. That country is set up on 50hz. Aside from the possibility of artificial light flicker (which can be eliminated by adjusting the shutter speed slightly to 1/50 or 216 degrees which is what I've done successfully in the past while leaving the DVX at it's 60hz frequency) is the frequency difference of any issue in post in each respective system? I plan to copy all my stuff to a portable hard drive for them but was wondering how would one convert the original 60htz footage to something they can work with (or is it even necessary)? I have to assume (and here's where I get into trouble) that a broadcast type editing station (which I know nothing about) should have the ability to somehow convert this for playback if the issues run deeper than just eliminating artificial light flickering. I know if someone handed me a disk full of 50htz material, I'd be a bit stumped as to what to do with it on my end except load it up and see if it worked but I wouldn't know what to be looking for like dropped or skipped frames or maybe a timecode gone nuts or??? Anybody run into this before? Is it even a problem given that the outputted codec would be 1080/30p MP4?

I think you've answered your own question. If you give them 1080/30p they will be in trouble as they will be in PAL land and using 25fps. I think if possible, switch frequency to 50hz and shoot their stuff on the 2nd card and use the 1st card at 60hz for your use.
That would solve all problems if you are just general shooting.

UUggghhh... no good deed goes unpunished! I did some tests and what I'd think I'll end up doing is a transcode to PAL when I get home on one of my NLE's (found one that can do it...) and Dropbox the pile to em. That seems to work but the time codes blow up (don't think they'll use them and can go off actual run times).

We get American shows here in Aus now as "simultaneous release", and you have to sit there and watch a forced dissolve of two frames every one and a third seconds and it drives me crazy.
