She bought a DVX 'cuz her celebrity status had fallen off the charts and she knew owning (and being seen with) a DVX is the remedy she's been needing. ;) :D

I'm glad the DVX is getting much-deserved attention. You wouldn't believe how many people around here still think the XL1 is THE camera for indie films. ::)

Yeah, but none of those sites are authorized panasonic resellers, and most of those places are super shady. Stay away, stay far away. I don't think Jan was trying to promote buying from those companies.

You're referring to MN right? Yah Jan you guys need to get more authorized dealers out here, I got to National Camera just in time to stop my relative from buying a pd-150 (they would've been shooting in lit situations, for indie productions - they wanted filmic looks)

Yep. There are a lot of people who think Canon is the only way to go for an independent film. They continue to think that no matter what I tell them... then I just show them the footage. End of discussion. ;D
