I thought I would post a picture of my HVX case and detail what all is in there in the event anyone is considering purchasing this product. It's an amazing case, in my opinion, holds tons of stuff, is airline shipping approved and is extremely rugged.
PLEASE NOTE THAT I AM NOT SELLING THIS CASE OR CAMERA. IT IS FOR REFERENCE ONLY IF SOMEONE IS LOOKING INTO TRAVEL CASES.
Here is everything I currently have inside this case as pictured here:
(1) HVX200a stock P2 camera
(1) 16GB P2 card in case
(1) SD card in case
(1) HVX remote control unit
(2) Camera batteries CGA-D54
(1) Panasonic battery charger
(1) Panasonic AC adapter and power cord (in accessory bag behind top cover)
(20) Panasonic mini-DV tapes
(3) Panasonic DV head cleaners
(1) Panasonic shoulder strap
(1) Panasonic operators manual
(2) swivel/hot shoe adapters (in bottom compartment underneath shoulder strap)
(2) lens blower/dusters
(1) lens cleaning rag
(1) accessory bag containing (1) S-VHS cable, (1) composite cable, (1) XLR mic cable and (1) HDMI cable
(1) Panasonic Component cable
(1) HOYA UV 82mm filter
(1) smallHD 9" video monitor and protective neoprene cover
(1) small HD collapsible monitor hood
(2) small HD batteries (located in compartment under the hood)
(1) small HD ac adapter
(2) small HD battery chargers
(1) accessory box (blue) containing the (2) small HD battery brackets and (4) thumbscrews
(1) package of small HD monitor protector screens and cleaning cloths
(4) small HD battery cables
(1) pack of business cards
(1) firewire cable (located in top case door)
(1) Audio technica shotgun microphone and (1) 1 ft. XLR mic cable (located in compartment underneath the smallHD hood)
There is still room behind the door for things like scripts, shot lists, misc. paperwork.
You will note that I am using the intended small matte box slot for mini DV tapes, but those tapes will be history once I purchase a matte box.
Hopefully this will help anyone that may be considering a travel case for their HVX200.
Dan
