Shakey Footage

Just finished editing footage for two clients. A 50th birthday party was shot with the 100B. The picture and sound was good while recording. However, after capturing the footage for post, I noticed that the picture appears shakey as if the subject's movement has like a motion blur or edges jagged. Does anyone no what causes this to happen. I assume shutter speed setting, but not sure. The same happened a little bit in the other project. All help is appreciated.

It would help if you post a clip.

'Shaky footage' sounds like a stability issue, 'motion blur' sounds like a slow shutter speed issue, and 'jagged edges' sounds like it was shot interlaced.

I agree with all that is stated...however, even when I have the camera on a tripod the subjects movements renders a motion blur...I'll try to post a clip later.
