'SHAKE YA HEAD' test: Z1 + slomotion with Twixtor + Hiro light effects technique

Hey Gustavo, that looks really great. So, you just shot it at 60i/125 and slowed it down 50%? Does twixtor works with premiere or after effects?

Hi rafa! I´m using Twixtor for After Effects. In fact, I´m still testing it. I need to try various shutter speeds to find the better one. In this video i shot at 60i 1/125. My goal now is to slow down to achieve that Michael Bay slomo :)

Check out Guy Richies' Snatch. There's an amazing boxing scene where Brad Pitt gets knocked out of the floor and the slow motion there is awesome.

Twixtor is pretty outstanding. I use it, and despite the outrageous render times, and steep learning curve, I've never found anything better (overcranked HVX excepted). It actually morphs frames in between rather than interpolating so for slomo and deinterlacing, it's the bomb.

The slo mo I really want is a from Road to Perdition, when that guy gets shot in the head in the warehouse. Sublime. Anyway heres a good way, infact the same as what Gustavo is doing. But another nice link for anyone who wants to save it in their favourites. Some nice vids in there as well.

I tried Twixtor but it was a trial version and I couldn't do much. It works on Premiere, which is great news, since it renders much faster than after effects. Did you guys try timewarp?

Man, you have no idea of how I was looking for that tutorial. I had the link on my Favorites, but somehow it was deleted. Thanks for posting!
