Hi everyone, I was hired to shoot some interviews with the band Shadows Fall for Ibanez / Tama promotions. It was about a week before I got my HVX200 so we shot with 2 DVX100’s. It’s just a test edit, there are a few things that need to be tweaked.

You need Flash 8 to view it:

very cool! Great colours framing, lighting, sound, damn close to perfect for what your doing.

now a few things i would change: For the drum keenests out there ( ive been drumming 10 years ) :D

more shots of the actual kit from different perspectives

show off the lugs, show off the snare throw switch, show off the beauty of the craftsmanship. Things like that.

Got any shots of him playing live in concert? still or video?

very cool!

I liked the lighting...But I dont know if the camera shake was intentional. Seemed to be some hesitation when zooming and panning, etc

Thanks for the comments. Its about as good as its going to get, far from perfect. It was a quick shoot. The band had minimal time.

Thanks again.
