Shadow is my second short film. Scroll down if you'd like to see more info on this short film. If anyone could submit a two sentence or even full paragraph review (negative or positive) that'd be awesome to include on the dvd cover. Thanks so much for watching! Hope you enjoy it.

Very nicely done. Loved the music, definitely set the mood.

Couple of scenes were blown out, but because of the cutting and the music, it didn't hurt it.

That's another thing, the colors. They seemed a bit rich, and I liked that. It wasn't "flat" or washed out.

"Shadow" is my second short film which is my take on suicide. It's not about a first hand telling of suicide but the repercussions of one in the perspective of one man. This is a no dialogue film with only a musical score to help with provoking emotion to an audience along with the visuals and acting. This was done on a budget of 220$

Equipment:
Canon Rebel T2i with the 18-55 mm lens and a 1.4 55mm lens (for one shot)

Editing and Color Grading was done in Adobe Premiere CS5.
Visual FX were done in Adobe After Effects CS5.

The "green screen" used for the VFX shots was a shower curtain I purchased from Wal-Mart.

Shooting this short film took a total of 4 days to film. Editing was around a total of 1 1/2 weeks. The VFX was about one days work.

I highly recommend my composer Thomas VanOosting who was great to work with. My cast and I had a great time bringing this film to life. Hopefully it'll be up soon for everyone to view and critique :p

Is the composer for the trailer different from the composer for the film or are the credits wrong?

Yes, the composer for the trailer and the composer for the film are different. The composer for the trailer has royalty free music that I used for the trailer. I paid a different composer to use his music in the final film.
