At the venue I work at we use 3 HMC80s and 1 AC130 for IMAG on our video boards. Recently we shot a horse show and we had some problems with white balance / shading. Lighting can change a lot during these shows since they start right around sunset, but there also arena lights that are turned on and off depending on whether acts are picked up with spotlights. The main issue is the HMC80s appear cold and the AC130 is warm. Should all the cameras be set to 5.6k? Should I use a grey card to white balance before the show or would this be pointless? What is the best way to get all these cameras matched up?
