SGPro issue... maybe?

I just received my SGPro. But when I look through either side of the SGPro it is foggy and grey. What is this? I plugged in the battery hoping it was a shutter of sorts, but all I get is a low hum...

What is this grey/foggy looking lens and what does the battery do?

The grey/foggy part was the GG disk he was looking at

John, it seems to me that you have purchased something without realising what it is or how it works.

Put the thing on the camera and attach a lens, focus up on the GG, plug in the battery and you'll see how it works.
