There was a communication misunderstanding with one of our partners and we wrongfully delayed a bit.

We have resolved the issue and in few days, most likely by the end of next week, the new web site will be up.

We are not out of business we just lost some time...

Sorry newera2 I haven't got your email... I was off the emails for couple of weeks...

Yes, I had said in the past that the new web site will be ready in few weeks…

But unfortunately my attention turned to a much more urgent and crucial task.

I’m a member of Federation of Hellenic Associations of Young Entrepreneurs which is the “union” of Young Entrepreneurs of my country. Our confederation is a member of YES - European Confederation of Young Entrepreneurs. The web site of YES is http://www.yes.be/ . If you go on the first page, you will see that our Prime Minister addressed the conference that took place June 27th in Thessaloniki in northern Greece.

I have being assigned from the Federation to lead the policy making group for the reforming of Innovation strategy and Young Entrepreneurship towards to the major reforms that was about to took place in few months. As of yesterday the new government synthesis was announcement. So the heavy part of my work has finished. I have to attend in the PM annual address to the nation the coming days and then it’s just few hours a week work to finish up the legalities of our proposal to the government.

It seems that they have a big ear wide open and there are good chances that all our proposals towards to a system that will allow founding on startups through a public financed business accelerator scheme and policy changes towards to the Greek patent system will be endorsed.

Yes it was a really hot summer for me after writing almost a book… it was a PhD class study of 120 pages… and I also wrote more than 5 articles on newspapers and speeches… I was on vacations and was still writing…

Now back to lens relay stuff.

I have slowly started to work again for the web site and I thing it will be up in first days of October. I have sold out all my stock there are three relays working out there in Norway, Germany etc… I’m on track to have in stock lenses by the end of October.

So the good news are… yes... there will be a lower cost alternative on the market that doesn’t force you to buy three relays to be able to use all your cameras and all your lenses to all frame sizes… there will be a relay/adapter combo that will cost less than a RED…

Now another issue that I must clear up…

I had a problem with my first client that didn’t want his relay after few months, even though I had send him for free the upgrade for S35 (that was a gift of 500 euro’s) he wanted to return the relay back and get back his money… I informed him that this has a restocking fee of 40% and its better to keep it and sell it, since I have gave him an extra value of 500 euro’s at no cost, he could get his money back from the market.

Unfortunately he was insisted and he did return the relay back and I did pay him the 60%. Recently while I was away writing, he send me blackmail email attacking me and asking more money back because if I don’t give that extra amount he will publicly say things… and so on.

I want to make it clear, I do give a warranty off two years that the relay will work and is going to be fixed at no cost if it has a problem that is related to a manufacturing problem.

A lens like that is a passive opto-mechanical part that doesn’t break unless you hit it hard to a concrete wall… If someone doesn’t like it he can get full money back if the lens returned within 14 days from the day of receiving as per the European Law for distance sales dictates.

Now, if after two months you realize that you can’t shoot in church or an old monastery with available light (dark monastery with candles... and light only from windows) that is too pity... because this is not a reason for returns… actually I will not accept returns at all. This case was the first and only.

The comparison of GG.relay with another adapter that sells second hand at five times the price is not a reason either, even if it gives you an extra stop of light… If you send me few frames or a video to show me how happy you are and how the lens performs i.e. with a 14mm lens in FF35 and I publish it on the web, again this is not a reason to get paid if I haven’t agreed on that.

So I’m sorry but I can’t go on this subject any more. For me the case is closed.

That wraps up my report and I’m open to answer questions.

There is one in Germany send me your details to ask the German client that has it, to get in touch with you. Wayne also has one demo in UK.

The site will be up before the end of September. It will include videos with tutorials and a lot of photos of the system. So it will be very informative.
 
More over, I will be able to accept orders, immediately after the launch of the site, since I will only then be able to keep a track on inquiries. I have also put a on schedule the manufacturing to be the first batch ready couple of weeks after.

Hello to everyone after a slight delay the web site is UP !!!
