SF HVX User Group

We were trying not to run dvxuser.com as a User Group, but I'll go with the flow. Should I post the poll over here as well?

We had one 2 meetings ago, but there was no demo footage shown. Would love to see the thing in action. Terrilble loss of light, though. Unusable without throwing a 650w min on the scene.

im going to be giving you guys that are sucessfully holding monthly/bimonthly meetings your own dedicated forum for meetings.. so far LA, SF, and NY are the three i know.
 
Thanks, Jared. One thing that would really makes a difference is having an event registration module. It gives a rough count on who is showing up as well as making it clear to members when the next meeting will be held, where, and what will be covered. Is there such a capability on this forum? It would be great.
 
Jarred, I think it would be great if we could get some kind of forum cooperation here. I started sffilmmakers specifically because of things that were absent on dvxuser regarding my specific area of production. I wanted a site that was more location specific, so networking, equipment and time sharing could become possible.

Of course, this was in no way a competition for me, as dvx user is my bread and butter...

I'm not sure if this is possible, but I was curious if there was some way to port dvx user to sffilmmakers for subject specific to the bay area.
