Hello, I'm working on my thesis film in the bay area, and I'm looking for any help that can be given, advice, equipment loans, locations, crew hands, you name it,
the film is called Burn it Down, its a cross between Rashomon and Romeo and Juliet, I will be shooting it this summer, in three locations and a greenscreen facility. it will end up being between 13 and 15 minutes long, and when finished will have burning buildings and a car exploding, both cg and blackbox composits, motion control, motion tracking, several greenscreen shots, 16 I believe,
Main issues, I am still looking for two locations, outside of an old warehouse, and inside a 3 car garage.
the outside shot will be shot at night, will need to tap into the warhouse's power for lighting and other equipment, will happily pitch in for the powerbill,
also, looking for crew, a good dp, I'm shooting on an hvx200 with a micro35 diy and nikon lenses, I would also be thankful for any inkind equipment loans. could use more lights for the night shots, and a stronger dolly and jib than the one I have access to.
thank you
Jason Miller
ps, if you'd like to crew, I can't pay, however, you'll get feed, and you'll get an hd dvd, copy when its compleated, maybe bluray, depends on who's winning the war when the visual effects are done.
