I shot with S-log yesterday, I find the footage beautiful, it sure looks more like film than video. One thing I did see though, and I've had the F3 for nearly 3 years now, the fist ever aliasing on my footage. It was on a microwave and a window, same shot. Does this have something to do with the 8 bit codec? Or was I just unlucky?
I have to say I think this S-log could be very addictive, I don't think I could go back to using other picture profiles. I don't see this grain in the shadows yet either, but we shall see. looking forward to next weeks shoot and playing with it more.
