Several Newb Questions

Hi, hoping to get a DVX100B soon. How long does the warranty last? Is there any other type of insurance you can put on it? Does the add-on mic come standard with the camera, if so, how is it? What are some accessories you find essential for overall shooting (lens adapters/filters/etc)? Which site can you buy it from and get Barry Green's material + HD software?

2. Get the MACK insurance. Great deal, transferable, and great service.

3. It has a built in mic, an add-on mic would be an add-on.

4. High quality UV filter if you'll be out in any elements. I think the FigRig or other basic stabilizer is necessary if you will shoot handheld much. I also like my indieSnap HD mattebox. The Varizoom Stealth PZFI is nice also, especially with the figrig and also mounted on a tripod. Also, get a polorizing filter. I use a 72mm round as opposed to the 4x4 that goes in the mattebox.
