Several Issues in my new GH1

PLease, I´m reading a lot and I don´t find any solution to my problems. Tell me please what I´m doing wrong.

Panasonic GH1 from UK 2009, serail WE9GB001359, de owner told my that is hackable.
It has version 1.1 inside.
SDHC 16g sandisk class 10
Frist problem, I put a 28mm canon FD with a Ciezo adaptor and tells me "chek if the lens is attached correctly.
Well, after format the card inside camera, I put the hacked software (ipowel GH_123 modificated ) in several folders of the card, but I don´t now where exactly (what means "root directory"? I got several, DCM, Misc, private....) because when I hit the green playback tells me : no valid picture to play.
I´m totally confused

Lens firmware -.-
I don´t don´t now if has anything to do with "check lens is attached correctly"....
 
My mistake!! It is hackable, my mistake was the I thought that "root" meaned something very deep into the card menu but it was not. When I puted in the main menu the worked just perfect.Right now body firmware 0.0 , but lens firmware -.-
I´m still with the lens attached problem!! I bought the ciezo adpator because it was good but is no working fine....any advice?

You won't get any lens firmware info unless you have a panasonic lens mounted.
