I've shot 80% of my spec reel on the DVX. I'm trying to get into commercial directing. Thought the forum might be interested in seeing what I've done with the DVX.

My web site is: http://www.nathanpbrown.com

Happy shooting!

Re: Several clips from the DVX...

You've got some really good stuff. Congrats on that deal with KFC, saw the news report.

Your animation is quite good as well and a great deal of commercials is animation or titling, so that's a great asset to have.

In the report I think it said you did the Krispy Kreme commercial first. That makes sense because I thought your other stuff was a little better. The documentary is also quite in depth. A little too much with the interviews i thought, but well done. Did you visit the Odessa steps? because that would be a cool place to do some filming. Do a little montage on the odessa steps... mmm... film history...

Thinspirit,
Thanks for looking at my site.

When I was in Odessa I did visit the steps and did some filming there. Surprisingly to me, most the natives I spoke to knew nothing about the film "Battleship Potemkin" and how it hdd made those steps famous, at least for us Americans and film gurus.

Nathan,

Such an impressive body of work! I especially appreciated your documentary on CCC in the Ukraine. Quality work all around...

I am working on my first docu. project, following a team of high school seniors on a True Love Waits concert tour in Zimbabwe, Africa. If you would be willing, I would really like to contact you offline and discuss your experiences of shooting in a foreign country.

My email is dthab~at~msn.com

Thanks,
David
