I ended up directing all the green screen stuff (video with black background) and did all the post production. This was my first shooting experience and editing experience with RED so I hope for more to come. The composite sequence in the middle with the other artists was the HVX footage. Let me know what you think.

Lookin good man,

how did you achieve that gritty CC look in post?

Lots of contrast? Looked a bit desaturated?

The second half of the video in the club was done using a variety of effects in Color. for the first half unfortunately the director vetoed me out and wanted the same effect through out the video.

Do not want to say anything bad about the director but it wasn't lit for any particular color scheme. I directed the green screen to have a natural shadowy look to it and he wanted the stylized look after seeing what i did with the second half. to me no matter what i tried i could not get it to look better then what it does now. Needless to say I did not want to do it but its not my video so. Thanks for the compliments.

i got me attention considering you only a few locations. The editing with a stylish pace really made the video work. Gorgeous Latina's too :D

Thank you. There were about two other locations shot but they only shot performance scenes and didn't shoot a lot of b roll so i tried to use it but it felt way out of place. Thank you though for the critique.

I'm impressed how well the two cameras looked similar. I'm sure the color grading helped. did you do any sharpening to the hvx stuff? really nice job...

Honestly no. I had no involvement with the shooting of the HVX footage but i do personally shoot on one. I think the director used some lenses and shot on 1080I and since the red footage is down compressed to 1080i plus the video being graded that probably helped a little bit.
