Settings!

Ok, I have been messing with the scene settings in 24p mode, and I'm not exactly sure what all of the different settins mean... Can someone help me out?

Here is what I'm using right now...
DETAIL LEVEL -4
V DETAIL LEVEL 0
DETAIL CORING 0
CHROMA LEVEL -3
CHROMA PHASE 0
COLOR TEMP -3
MASTER PED 0
A. IRIS LEVEL -2

Now... I use the -3 color temp because I like my images to look alittle more "golden", if that makes any sense. However, I don't know exactly what these other settings do... Can someone help me out?

Also.. what is the advantage of the skin tone option? I can't seem to tell much of a difference........

THANKS!

(shameless plug) If you get the DVX Book/DVD, it has an exhaustive explanation of every setting, including examples that tell you and show you what each setting does (end plug).

You've made your image softer and less color-saturated with those settings. The Skin DTL function has more of an effect the higher the detail level is; the lower the detail level, the less effect it has. Even at the maximum, the effect is very mild.

With your setting of -4 on the detail level, it's doubtful you'd see any effect at all from skin detail.
