Is there any thread, forum or refined search that contains footage with the settings (and other tech info) it was shot with? This would be a great learning tool. Cheers.
 
I'm not sure about a thread, but I would recommend that if you like a users video, ask that person in their thread what settings they used for the project,
Most users usually provide basic information about their projects when they post clips like which camera/adapter/lens/microphone, was used, I'm sure they would have no problem going into more details about specific camera settings.

try searching "settings" or "scene files" in the technical forum. check out the stickies also.
 
Wow, Larry's thread feels so old. I forgot about it, until I came to this post. But jambredz had beat me to it.

Very nice colors. Very nice settings on that page.

Settings I use:

-24pA
-SQUEEZE
-chroma phase is in the pluses
-MASTER PED is usually -3 to -7.
-Color temp is normally around 0.
-Detail Level is at -4

The rest I play with in post. (FCP)

If you want to start a settings thread, the Technical Forum might be a better place to do it.
