Settings recommendations for shooting S-log2 internally in AVCHD?

Hi everyone,
What are recommended settings for shooting slog2 internally? Is it recommended to overexposing it a little bit?
Thanks!

hmm... for my understanding AVCHD sLog2 is for experienced shooters who know what they are doing. The range of stretching a flat 8Bit file into the full range again does not leave much headroom for heavy corrections. From my experience in general it's better to expose to the right to avoid noisy blacks but be careful NOT to overexpose. Best is to try by yourself and shoot a high contrast scenery in various exposures to compare your settings. Personally I did not use sLog2 in AVCHD. I found it easier (and more safe also) to go for Cine1 or Cine4 and shoot the picture ready to edit with only little color corrections.

This conversation is extremely similar to another thread on here that I replied too last night. Check it out if interested. I personally was finding a lot of success with getting what I wanted with SLOG2 with AVCHD but it does definitely take some practice and a lot of post production exploration. Right before I got my 7Q though, I had gotten to a point where I almost exclusively was shooting SLOG2 with the AVCHD and I push grades pretty hard. But the 7Q absolutely opens the door to the full experience and I highly recommend it.

I have found Exposing to the Right about a half stop in AVCHD to work the best for grading in post and killing noise you will find in the blacks if you expose properly. I have personally not been using a LUT while filming....which I am actually pretty sure isn't an option internally on the cam anyway. The 7Q offers a LUT but I find I underexpose my shots when I use it.

Here is the thread, just scroll down to read my full explanation and see a video where I used 3 different picture profiles with the FS700 including SLOG2 all pushed with some pretty heavily saturated looks and all with AVCHD.
