Settings for HDV V1 24p

Hi everyone...

I buy a new HVR-V1 and i will like have the best settings for works on Final Cut Studio 2 HD, my computer is a G5 Quadd pre-intel and have the best quality in image and audio...

Someone would tell me or send me the settings... please...

i'm sorry about my english...
 
Have you bought the camera yet, or are you buying. I don't own a sony but I know that all HDV formats have compressed audio.
 
FCP 6 should set the settings for you.
I just got rid of my V1U, but still work with the settings since i still have footage from it i need.
Just a basic HDV 1080i24p timeline will do.

I dont know what kind of look you are trying to get with the camera, so as for settings on the camera just play around with the picture profiles a little bit until you get the right look for your need, then maybe touch it up a little bit with FCP color corrector.
