i'm shooting a kid's dancing under default scene 6, 24p, my results are not smooth enough when the kid is moving faster.
what settings i should change in order to fix this?
thanks

You can use a slower shutter speed, but that will just result in more of a blurring than a smoothening.

Scene file 6 is 24pa and needs to be converted to 23.98 (pulldown removal) to play at it's slowest.
Scene 5 is 24p.
In either case of the 24 fps the default shutter speed will give you same results if you (or someone else shot the dance on film) Many music videos are shot at 24 on film.

As mentioend you could slow the shutter but that woudl tend to make the image more motion blurred.

If you want to capture as much motion as possible and the video look isn't a problem shoot at 60i. (Normal scene files)

what i just figured out... the smoothness is at least not that bad for those files i captured, however, after i rendered to quicktime or wmv, the smoothness becomes much worse.
is that something to do with my NLE settings? i'm using vegas 6, with some magic bullet effects applied
