Settings for a DVD/Maybe ran on TV as well

Okay, so I have a client that wants to put together a 35min. DVD so he can sell before and after his presentations. The guy is totally energenic and can talk for 28 mins without making a mistake. Your typical QVC host.. But just figure shooting in 3 shots 9mins:20 sec. each.

Well I am thinking of shooting 720p/30pn. Is 720p/30pn the best to shoot this for DVD and TV? If not what would you recrommend?

Also what settings would you use. F1 - F6, I am pretty new, and just want to make sure that everything is brodcast and the BEST quality. So when this guy lets say is get this picked up by a staiton and they see it, they are stunned by the quality :)

I have one 4gigP2 card and will being buying another this week. This would be a lot easier if we had the CinePorter :)

The shoot is pretty easy. Tripod on lock and it cuts back and forth to Power Point slides that somehow I need to figure out how incorporate into FCP. So that in itself is another question.

I am shooting (14) 20:00min segments, and (6) 51min segmants. I will not be duplicating, just giving the client one mast of each DVD.

thanks for all the help. I wish you guys were all located in my little city of Lone Tree, Colorado :)

720P 30PN should be fine. The PN (Native) modes only record the exact number of frames you're shooting, as opposed to the P modes, which spread your frames among 60. So the PN modes are more efficient. I think you can get the most space with 24PN, and if you're using a 4gb card, you'll want the most space. (And it can look like film. Mmmmmmm.)
Regarding Apple laptops, from what I know, the newest laptops use the new Intel chips (which is good and bad right now), but they don't have PCMCIA slots, so you can't pop in your P2 cards (you can still dump footage via firewire though). If you need to be able to dump P2 footage while you're still shooting, get an older laptop and you'll be fine.
As far as scene file settings go, you'll have to do some research...

I would like to know what settings I should shoot this in. Maybe ya'll can re-read my post and answser. Thanks so much for your time.
