Settings : F3+S-Log+Aja/Gemini

Can someone please clarify this if I’am wrong :

F3 + S-Log + Aja Ki Pro Mini :
Output : SDI OUT 4:2:2 to Ki Pro Mini
Settings “Video Set” 1,5 RGB444 S-Log
No Lut

F3 + S-Log to SxS Card :
To SxS Card
Settings “Video Set” 1,5 RGB444 S-Log
with Lut (good) - Without (not good)

F3 + S-Log + Aja Ki Pro Mini AND to SxS card :
Output : SDI OUT 4:2:2 to Ki Pro Mini
And to SxS Card
Settings “Video Set” 1,5 RGB444 S-Log
No Lut (good for ProRes422 HQ) but not good for SxS card
No possibility together : No Lut for Aja Ki Pro Mini and Lut to SxS Card

F3 + Gemini + S-Log
Ouput HD SDI 4:4:4 A and B
Settings “Video Set” 3G RGB4444 & S-Log
Lut via Output : 422 HD-SDI

“Aja Ki Pro Mini or other external recorder could record the S-Log output from the 422 HD-SDI output, this is done by turning off the LUT that normally is applied to that output. S-Log in 444 color space would be better, but no doubt that a 422 version would be good too.
You can record something like S-Log to the cards by turning off the LUTs. However this is not recommended because the EX compression would make it difficult to grade the image.

The point of S-Log is to flatten the image to best show the range of the sensor. The image will have to then be graded to get proper contrast, but then one can select what detail one wishes to retain. But if recorded to a compressed format such as XDCAM-EX, there is not enough information available for grading.”
