Setting up new DVX100B- I have a Wedding

I just got my new 100B yesterday. I have never used this camera before. I have a wedding to tape this afternoon as a favor to the neighbor across the street (no pay). Can the camera be used in auto straight out of the box, or are there some setting that need to be set before the camera is used. I can learn all the features later, but for now will be filming in pretty much auto, so at to not make any mistakes. I seen something in the manual about Time Code setting, and was not sure that I needed to set this or not. I have this morning and a few hours into the afternoon to figure this out, so any ideas, suggestion, or comments would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks guys

The first thing you want to do is read the "getting the right image" sticky. This should clear up many of the questions I'm sure you have.

No pay=No pressure. This is a good opportunity to try shooting the wedding in 24p! But if you want to shoot it 60i in a full auto mode, that option is available.
I think you're pretty much set on the time code setting, just put a tape in and shoot.
Another suggestion: Get as close to the bride & groom as you can, cuz the DVX has a pretty short focal length. That's my BIGGEST gripe with this camera for event work.
