Setting time code

So I'm shooting with both hvx and dvx's. is there a way to set time code on both of them to be perfect.? or is it a matter of doing the old 123 hit the reset button at the same time deal? also shooting the hvx for slow mo. any suggestions on what the best settings will be to mesh with later onFCP or does it even matter.( HVX 720p/24pn, DVX 480/24fps).
Also, If I get a scene file set on the HVX are there any Parameters on putting them on the DVX? or is it basically the same without the HD and p2 card Capabilities.
