Setting for Canon T2i

Setting up FCP:

I have not used FCP with my camera yet (or any DSLR), nor has anyone else that I know. Ive used Sony Vegas, now im only FCP.

I tried setting FCP for the T2i, but when I did, it kept on telling me to change it to the appropriate settings for the video. When I clicked 'OK' it changed, but I dont know if I should trust that auto thing.

Im shooting 1080 24p. Video already converted to Prores 422.
What should the settings be changed to?

*This is to be seen in theaters.
 
What are your sequence settings once the sequence was changed with that prompt?

Use command-0 and or access the settings from the drop down menu.

And what are the specific video attributes of the converted footage?

That is accessed examining the clips in the bin

I honestly got no idea what your talking about. I wish I knew someone who was more experienced with this to tell you.

Generally in FCP when you drop a clip in a new sequence it will ask you if you want to change the sequence to match the clip... click yes and the timeline will be matched to the footage...

It really can't be any simpler... If you are unsure just check the sequence in the viewer and see if it matches the footage...
