I should have been asked this question but how do you set the dvx100a up fo 60i shooting and is there a way to up rez my footage to hd without using that photopro method? and last not but not least, if i render 720x480 as high def in vegas 7.0 will it be true HD? please help here at dvx user or email me at rjohnson@i-95media.com

If you render it out as HD, it'll be HD -- but HD uprezzed from SD, of course.

Menu > Scene File > (scroll down) Progressive > Off
Yes, Vegas will automatically uprez for you.
Technically yes (as in it will be a full 1080 or 720 format), but it won't look too good. It is still an SD source. Why do you want to render out as HD?

Yes, you can uprez if that's how you choose to export, but it will NOT be the same as if you shot natively with a HD camera. It will look like SD blown up to HD, exactly what it is.
