setting audio?

I seem to be getting a crakling, wind sound, despite the fact I'm in a closed room, with my HVX.

I get it with the on camera mic, as well as my Rode VideoMic. Do I have a setting turned on that shouldn't be maybe? What are the suggested settings when using an external mic?

Do you have a recording of said sound? It may be easier to help with an audio or video clip exhibiting this issue. There are a lot of things that can cause interference (i.e. bad cable, air vent, power issue, etc).
