I do a lot of my main for work on Canon DSLR's, but we recently purchased the FS700. I was wondering if they have programs similar to CPS? Website, silver, gold, etc..?
You can buy an official Sony extended guarantee directly through B&H. 3 year , 5 year options, but covers only repairs. Must buy before the 90 days are up.
Yes, it's out of stock, which sounds odd, but it's because Sony provides them with paperwork that B&H sends to you, which you register on line. I have three of these policies.
I paid about $350 to Samy's Camera and got an extended 2 year (3 year total) warranty that covers mechanical defects and accidental breakage. Not a bad price for a piece of mind. Plus the store is close to my house, so that's a bonus as well.
