came across this pdf version for $9.97 (downloadable file) - more than you would ever want to know about the DVX 100 - all the circuit boards, components, disassembly, parts - etc.

The zipped file expands into 80 pdf sub-files

I view it as a curiosity-type reference source - I would never attempt any of this stuff on my DVX 100B

Section 1, paragraph 5 has a pretty cool diagnostic menu for the condition of the VCR part of the camera - simultaneously push a few buttons to bring it up

oddly - couldn't find anything (on first glance) about head cleaning -

(Browsing through it... wow. that's a lot of information. Hope I never need it :))

I may need to get one of these to fix my firewire port. Does it have actual photos of disassembly/reassembly as well as parts lists?

I'm going to work right now, but I'll look into it tonight. I didn't see pictures (like photo's) but there are a lot of schedules and drawings in it.
