Hi people,

We've e very serious problem. Today I was shooting an interview with some very important people. Normally we use two external mics to capture the sound. We putted the direction mic in input 2 and the interview mic in input 1. Channel 1 for input 1 and channel 2 for imput two so evreything was set in the correct matter.
However there was no indication of any sound that came into input 1. It;s not the mic...the other mic didn;t work in input 1 but it worked properly in input 2.
We also resetted the whole system and it still didn't work. We have a panasonic AG-HVX201AE. Is there any setting we forgot to look...and if so which one?
I hope you guys can can help me out a little...I would appreciate it.

Kind regards,

Miguel

Hi there,

No, affortunately not...we allready tried that one..we also resetted the whole system.
Is there any setting in a menu that set the input off??

kind regards

Sounds like it is in need of service, since the only thing that would get in the way of the input not working would be the mic/line switch on the camera, and since you have said that was not the issue, then a trip to the service center is in order.

Best,

Jan

Hi guys,

We used our premium warranty of Panasonic and I must say I'm impressed by their excelent services. We sended the package on wednesday evening and we got it back on friday morning. They repaired it by putting in a new input plugin.
Nothing but praisal....thank you all for your reactions.
