Ok, here is what happened,
we are recording a lot of interviews at the moment, about 5 hours a day in 720pn (pal cam).
We discovered some serious jumping (heres a mxf. vidoe file to download: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=CB5XO7BN I am not sure if the link works, i am connected back to dvxuser if i click it, try to copy and paste it..!) and i know what everyone is thinking now: the ois..!
The strange thing is that we are shooting hand camera, and the OIS is OFF!
But the jump is there and it looks definitly like a digital one (not like a movement from the camera..!)
It goes in a about 2 or three frames to the right and the jumps back after a couple of seconds...this is really weirs as this is an important production, and we cant watch all the footage right now.
I am wondering if this is a camera problem or whatever...i assume that this is not a P2 specific problem, as we have an output to a dvd recorder, and the same thing there.
I am really concerned that this could have to do with the camcorder itself, id be happy if someone like Jan could have a look on this, i could also send her the file...!
Anyone experienced something like that??
