We have the Sony EX1, using it for studio work, with the sd-sdi going out to a mixer. for a few weeks, it woukd power down when it was plugged in (never when it was recording) and I would just throw a battery on, and it would be fine. Today, it powered down with the battery and the plug (each individually, and then together). Then it powered down while recording. What's weird is that some lights seem to stay on, but the LCD screen goes black and the video isn't going into the mixer. Yelp!
