Serial number logics?

First letter is the month (A=Jan... L=Dec) and next digit is the las digit of year of manufacture (6 for 2006, 5 for 2005 etc). Next two letters are used to decribe what product is and what generation, but that's internal to Panasonic engineering and the remanining is just a serial.

If I remember correctly, Jan commented about numbering and was there some details about that generation?
 
I was the one who first mentioned the Panasonic serial number decoding.
