SERE Trailer--HD Prisoner of War Drama

Hi guys! This Summer I produced an HD feature film titled "SERE". It is a military POW drama set in the Middle East. We shot on a Sony F-900, and it took roughly two weeks. It was a very short shoot, with a small budget and small crew. But, I think it came out very nicely. The trailer is on youtube, so the quality isn't amazing, but we are going to upload a higher quality trailer on our website soon. Check it out and let me know what you think!

Wow, kingofcomedy86, i really gotta say...This looked incredibe. So movie like, you cut it perfectly to make it just like an actual trailor.Great job on that

very good work.
cinematography looks amazing, and the actors look good, especially the first one that speaks in the trailer.

what camera did you use ?

That was by far one of the best trailers i have seen on this site, I am very very impressed i could see that trailer showing before any movie i have seen this summer. Very professional, great editing, great acting, great everything... thus its just a trailer but i have to say i really really look forward to seeing the finished product and i hope you keep us all updated on your progress.

Thanks!

Thanks!

Hi Everyone! It has been a while since I have posted in this community and I recently registered with a new name because I felt I had outgrown "Kingofcomedy86" (a screenname I had been using since I was 11 years old).

Regarding the trailer, thanks for all the kind words! After a long process of completing the film we have acquired distribution and the film has a release date set for May 11, 2010. You can already search for it on Netflix and add it to your queue or pre-order it on Amazon and a few other sites.

Thank you all for the support!

Best,
Alex

P.S. This is the new Key Art for the film! Sorry for the low quality, I just pulled it from Amazon.

High Quality Trailer

High Quality Trailer

The trailer on youtube is pretty low quality...it was posted back in the day when you could only upload like 500mb at a time or something. But you can download a higher quality Quicktime trailer from the movie's website.

Thanks everyone!

Thanks NWP. I know this is a pretty old post, but I just thought I'd mention that we shot on a Sony F900 CineAlta. It's a great camera, we never had any issues shooting with it. It rents out cheaper than a RED also (at least out here in LA), and because every indie filmmaker and their mom wants to shoot on the RED these days, I bet you could fairly easily talk a rental house down even farther in price.

We got our camera package for free with a special film grant...which is also another way you all should look into if you're looking to save a bit on production costs...which I know I always am. :p

Best,
Alex
