OK, I understand private squabbles but it now has become public, there's no two ways about that. Who will fill the shoes of Michael? Who will bring his insight? This is what gets me a little alarmed. I visit and participate here because of the many contributors and all the crazy questions & ideas, this is what a community needs. When a member leaves the community the community is weakend by their absence unless there has been great abuse to the community. I can't seem to find the damage yet.

It would seem to me private affairs are dealt with privately and all members continue with public discourse.

Not sure what this is about... the only thread of mine that got deleted, that I know of, was Pre-NAB asking Noah Kadner which NLE he'd be demonstrating the P2 workflow on.

I asked a mod, but never got a reason why. I figured it was for asking a question that was probably better suited in an e-mail or private message. It wasn't important, so I didn't really care.

For me though, the cross-posts were annoying. Although I can't complain because I do the same when I have a new film or video to show.

Well, again, it was handled privately and dealt with privately. Michael decided to make it public, DVXUser did not. He was dealt with in private messages and private e-mail.
 
For the love of something or other, it's time to redirect this thread......

I know, but a) people kept asking, and that was the first public display of facts,
and b) hoping you'll try to drown me out with more pictures! :)

I totally agree.. but most of you didnt see what he was doing, because our great mods here removed the dozens and dozens of spam before you could see it.

trust me, this isnt a conspiracy.
