Sensor color balance?

What is the AF100 sensor's color balance? What color of light is white to it?

I assume that when you switch between 3200K and 5600K presets, the gain is adjusted in one or more color channels to accomplish the color shift. Which preset has the most balanced color channels?

I don't find this info anywhere; it would be great if camera manufacturers would document this particular data.

Anyone have any ideas or hints?

Although kind of interesting to know ... in the real world it does not help you much. You will be shooting in a variety of color temps (various sources) and need to color balance to whatever they are.

Recently I shot in studio and some of the sets I lit tungsten base and another was daylight (HMI).
The AF102 produced great images under both conditions . Both shot indoors but...one looks like an interior set lit incandescantly with daylight at the window. The other looks like we are out doors with a panoramic scene BG. Look like they should ( game we play is an illusion ... smoke and mirrors to fool the eye and convince the brain)

It easy enough to do your own test anyway. Light a color card / skin tone/ whatever with tungsten and then daylight... and see what you prefer. Even ...do frame grab and run RGB pickers on them to analyse the color content. etc
