Sensor Cleaning - Help

I've found this spec of dust/something, and it's not on my lens, because I have tried 4 different lenses and it showed up in the same spot, it's obviously not on the LCD screen as it has come up in footage, so it can only be on the sensor, I cannot visiby see it on the sensor, but a good clean should fix it.

So, I have never cleaned a sensor before and I need a bit of guidance on how to... only problem is, I shoot a pilot TOMORROW. So it's going to be hard to get out to any shops and buy any cleaning kits, so what around the house can I use? I have my cloth/towel + lens cleaner for my lenses, could that be of some use? I will try and not push on the sensor at all to prevent damage that way, any advice would be good advice, thanks

Here is the dreaded mark.

You know the nose suckers for children? (Sorry couldn't think of the name hah)

Use that to blow anything on the sensor away.

Should relieve the issue, have had to do this quite a bit on my DSLR back in the day.
You shouldn't need the kits unless it's a bit stickier. The sucker should prevail! :cheesy:

I've had that exact spot multiple times. I have been using canned/compressed air for 5 years. Not one problem and has worked 20/20 times to remove any dust/dirt. Just don't shake it or hold it sideways and it's perfect. The pressure always removes everything nicely. But I hear you if you'd rather not use it.

Alright, i'll try and find that sitting around the house (haha), the shops are closed today, so that's no go, but atleast I know what to use now.

Thanks Guys!

The user manual states: "Do not use a spray blower because it may scatter water droplets inside the camcorder body."

I would avoid using the canned spray. Though there's might be an safe way to use it, common sense tells you that it could easily expel more than just air.

local place for me 30 dollars and well worth it... honestly I had issues the technician had never seen and said there would be no way I could have cleaned it myself without harming the sensor with even the 300$ kits (now most tech's have to say that but i know and trust this guy)

Common sense also tells you not to shake the can or hold it sideways, but people do anyway. That's the only why it expels liquid...I'm still going to do it regardless...maybe I'll learn my lesson one day.

Ahhhhhhh, I 'thought' it went away, but alas I think I may have just moved it or created more 'fainter' bloches, this is annoying me now and I don't know what I can do, think I may go and get it cleaned or get a proper kit, anyone else get other suggestions?

*you can see it very faintly on this size (800x600), but on a bigger size they stand out more and especially if I go to a lower f stop and get darker, they are more noticeable.
