I know this is going to sound like a stupid question but I'm super confused on the sensitivity of the F3.
For the longest time, I've heard that it was 800 ISO at 0 db in normal mode and 1600 ISO in S-Log.
Last night however, we were shooting and the camera seemed WAY darker than 800 ISO. Some have indicated it's only 800 ISO in 60i mode and not 24p but I when back and checked the Able Cine tests and they seem to indicate that it's 800 ISO in 24p. I've switched between 60i and 24p in the camera and do notice a bump in brightness at 60i. What am I mis-understanding here? Is the camera 800 ISO when in the 23.98 frame rate? Why would one even worry what it was at 59.97i since, in all liklihood, anyone who wants a super 35mm camera with prime lenses is going to want 24p.
I've got a shoot next weekend in which the speed of the camera is pretty important. We're shooting in a dark alley at night with mostly available lighting. I really need to be sure how the camera is rated at as we did all our tests with light meters/DSLRs starting with an 800 ISO rating.
