Sennheiser Transmitter. Need A Better Way To Clip It On Belts

I like my Sennheiser system. I have a G2 but will upgrade to 2000ENG soon. I hate the belt clip on the transmitter. Any third party sleeves or light weight slim case's with belt clip that the transmitter will fit in. Cant be bulky. This would be for attaching to belts on the back of pants mostly for men.

I use small soft camera cases and have some with eyelets fitted for the aerial and twin zip pulls to allow the cable to exit.

Thanks guys! TheDingo the two links you provided are for a sick mic transmitter. I want it for the lav transmitter.

B&H Photo has it mis-labeled. This case IS for the lav transmitter. Here's a picture of one of my cases where I chopped off the cover flap because the transmitter is already very snug in the case. ( the elastic sides squeeze it pretty tight )

I pick up transmitter and IFB receiver belt-cases at Dollar Tree or other $1 stores, they're cheap and work. There's also lots of Comtek pouches available on eBay and pro audio forums.

Sennheiser make a small GoreTex bag specifically designed for this transmitter.

They also do a leatherette pouch for it.

As stated on previous posts the POP 1 is for the SKP 100 or 500, the OP want's a case for the belt pack lav type transmitter.

While the POP 1 may not have been designed specifically for the LAV transmitter, the Sennheiser G3 LAV transmitter fits into the case. I've been using a POP 1 case like this for 4 years now.

The Lowepro Phone Pouch 20 fits the Sennheiser G3 transmitter nicely:

It is low profile but very robust. Just make a little hole in the top to have the aerial come through - this will also serve to stop the aerial from touching the persons body and thereby diminishing its range. You could make another hole for the cable or just zip it up to hold it.

The belt loop is well designed - you do not have to undo the belt to slip the pouch onto it because you can instead just part the strong velcro, put it on, and refasten the velcro.

Well there you go so it does and your learns something new every day.

Still not perfect tho as the flap is a bit large and a lot more than the $5 canon camera cases I got from the clearance bargains store.

Take your transmitter into Walmart/Target/Bass-Pro/Lowe's/Best Buy (any) and check out the cases for cell phones... you'll be surprised at how many options there are that seem to be made for the G2/G3.

I've also seen neoprene pouches intended for cell phones LIKE THESE that stretched to fit perfectly snug.

This may suit - a Sennheiser product made for the SK 50/250 but will hopefully fit the evolution series:-

SK 50T

Article No. 003972
Goretex ® transmitter bag for additional moisture protection for the SK 3063 and SK 50 / SK 250 pocket transmitters.

It has buttonholes in the corners for fitting to costumes.

In the theatre I used to work for we had the costume dept. sew up some bags with elastic bands that worked great and were washable. They would make them to work with the costume so along with the waistband versions they also had some that were made for other locations like the thigh and one that was built into a heavily padded (as in quite huge) bra. And in some cases they built the pouch into the costume.

The are also THESE from TAI Audio. They won't help for clipping to a belt, though... they're more for concealing under shirts.
