Sennheiser SK100 G2 Transmitter (B-Range)

A while back my Sennheiser SK100 G2 Transmitter started giving me a little intermittent static. Instead of sending it in to Sennheiser for repairs I just bought a new one off of eBay (there was an upcoming shoot and I didn't know how long repairs would take). Then I had more time and decided to get the old one repaired.

So now I have an extra Sennheiser G2 bodypack transmitter (B-Range) and it's up for sale. In fact you can take your pick of the one I got off eBay or the repaired one from Sennheiser (they put a brand spanking new mainboard in). They both work like new and sound great.

I paid $225 on eBay for the new one, so that's the price I'm asking, although I'll be paying paypal fees and shipping to the lower 48.

Alternatively if someone has an ek100 receiver for sale let me know and I'll build up a second set :)

SOLD!

Don't wanna crush your post but $200 might be a little steep yet for these folks. I myself just picked up a full g2 lav kit in mint condition from a pawn show for $220, all it was missing was the shoe bracket and the xlr cord which i replaced from B&H.

What range was it? I could see a C-range going that low (as no one seems to want those right now because of the future interference), but the g2 lav kits are cheapest at a $469 buy-it-now on eBay. And a set with over 2 days of bidding left is at $305 on eBay right now (with 24 bids, so likely to go up more).

If you got an amazing deal on a non-C-range kit off a pawn show that's great for you, but this price is still very much in line with the going rate (as I said, a bunch of these were going for around $225 on eBay last month), and I'm going to stand by my asking price. At worst I'll post it on eBay and get about this much, but I'd rather work through dvxuser.

It was a G2 - A-Range unit. Like I said, I wasent looking to step on you. Just saying what they can sometimes be found for, either that or I got really really lucky.

Hmm, that's a really good deal for you then. Pawn shows must be the new place to go for equipment. But I'd say that's not the norm price (unless everyone else is getting G2 sets for $220, if so, point me there!), and I stand by my price range as being fair and just. I might go a little lower, but no way I'm selling it for anywhere near $100. I'd rather keep it as a backup than do that.

These complete sets are now easily selling for $350 used as I've seen them on craigslist and ebay. You could just put it up for sale on ebay for $200 or $175 as a fixed price sale, I think it costs $.35 if it doesn't sell... you have wider exposure that way.

Well I wouldn't go so far as to say it's the new place to look for equipment but I was having lunch at Quiznos and on the way back to the car I decided to stop in the pawn shop next door over. Something told me to stop in even though I usually don't bother with pawn shops. I walked around for a minute and was actually heading for the door when I spotted a lone G2 system in a case for $250. I tested it out then offered em 220 for it.

Long story short, they sold it and I walked with a G2 that I honestly don't think has ever been used. Even the mic and cables were still factory wrapped.
