The Sennheiser 415 is the predecessor to the 416, and like the 416 it is a professional hypercardiod low-noise microphone, the main difference between the two being that the 415 is T-powered instead of phantom powered.
I'm including in the sale the Denecke PS-T power supply, which will enable to use the microphone even without getting power from a mixer. (Some mixers supply t-power as well as phantom, such as the Sound Devices 302 mixer, which I am also selling http://www.dvxuser.com/V6/showthread.php?316545-Sound-Devices-302-Field-Mixer-Porta-brace&p=1986443132&highlight=#post1986443132

The microphone is in perfect working order, and includes its original wooden case. There is one cosmetic flaw, a one bar of the metal grill is missing but which doesn't affect the sound quality.
I'm looking for $420 for the mic and power supply, softie and pistol grip shock mount.
HISTORY: I bought this from the DP of many Troma productions. It was used on the set of 'Poultrygeist: Return of the Chicken Dead', among other films.
