Help.

I'm not hearing sound through the wireless ew100g2
Both units are on. I get levels on the transmitter. No sound through receiver

The channel number displayed on the transmitter is different from the receiver.
Example: 519.500 mHz transmitter 632.225 mHz receiver

If they need to be the same, what buttons do I push do get the frequencies to match? (I tried "set", then "channel", then "set"... but the numbers won't scroll far enough to match.)

Thanks,
Jeff

There's a great tutorial by Guy Cochran on dvcreators.com on setting up the G2. Click "theater" and you should see a link to the Sennheiser tutorial.

Thanks. That's a cool site. In addition to watching the sennheiser clip, I watched the others posted as well...

I'm still having trouble getting the numbers to match between the transmitter and receiver. I pushed set ... bank... tune....
It displays choice of four different numbers, but none match the number on the receiver.

Banks 1 to 8 have four switchable channels that are factory preset. Use BANK menu to switch between banks. Use CHAN menu to switch between the four channels. Use same bank and same channel on both transmitter and receiver and reqs. will match.

Pages 75-78 in manual have simple flow chart of setting hierarchy. Page 79 gives directions on switching between banks and channels.

You er..um.. have read the manual I hope.

Problem solved.
I have two separate units -- a handheld mic and a lav mic -- the receivers look exactly the same to me. They got mixed up. I picked up the wrong unit on my way out of the office. Once I got the lav transmitter together with its receiver, everything worked fine... The frequency ranges are printed on the back of the bodypacks. A humbling reminder to check equipment BEFORE leaving the office.
Thanks,
Jeff
