The DC-2 power adapter can use 6-18 volts to replace the 2 AA batteries in either the transmitter or receiver of a G2 or G3 system. I've installed the plug that was going to work with the external battery I have, but never got a chance to use this. I can remove the plug, if necessary, and re-tin the ends.
